82536092cc Rename boundary classes
Did a bit of renaming of the support classes used for
WorkletPointNeighborhood. First, the OnBoundary tag is changed to
Boundary to match other tags and reflect some changes in the resulting
methods. Also moved the BoundaryState and Neighborhood classes from
vtkm::exec::arg to vtkm::exec to be more accessible. Finally, the
Neighborhood class name was changed to FieldNeighborhood to be more
specific on what role this class plays with neighborhood.

01a9e85416 Change WorkletPointNeighborhood to specify neighborhood at runtime
Previously, WorkletPointNeighborhood had a template argument to select
the size of the neighborhood. This change removes that template
argument. Instead, the vtkm::exec::arg::BoundaryState methods now take
in a size parameter when determining when it overlaps the boundary.

If in the future we want to add the ability to select the neighborhood
size at compile-time (for performance reasons), I suggest adding this
template argument to the OnBoundary tag for ExecutionSignature.

bddad9b386 Remove TryExecute from filters
Now that the dispatcher does its own TryExecute, filters do not need to
do that. This change requires all worklets called by filters to be able
to execute without knowing the device a priori.

d879188de0 Make DispatcherBase invoke using a TryExecute
Rather than force all dispatchers to be templated on a device adapter,
instead use a TryExecute internally within the invoke to select a device
adapter.

Because this removes the need to declare a device when invoking a
worklet, this commit also removes the need to declare a device in
several other areas of the code.

626a49cc0b Worklet Dispatcher calls now consistently specify a device adapter
Some worklets Run() method accidentally used the default device adapter
which should be avoided. Instead they should use a passed in device
adapter so that we support multiple device adapters in the same
binary/executable.

edc4c85fd9 Move Scatter from Worklet to Dispatcher
Previously, when a Worklet needed a scatter, the scatter object was
stored in the Worklet object. That was problematic because that means
the Scatter, which is a control object, was shoved into the execution
environment.

To prevent that, move the Scatter into the Dispatcher object. The
worklet still declares a ScatterType alias, but no longer has a
GetScatter method. Instead, the Dispatcher now takes a Scatter object in
its constructor. If using the default scatter (ScatterIdentity), the
default constructor is used. If using another type of Scatter that
requires data to set up its state, then the caller of the worklet needs
to provide that to the dispatcher. For convenience, worklets are
encouraged to have a MakeScatter method to help construct a proper
scatter object.

b241299d0b MarchingCubes now generates normals in a post pass.
This has been done to reduce memory overhead; as we don't need to store
normals for all points before finding the unique subset, and also improving
performance of the algorithm.

b4d542e345 MarchingCubes now merges points correctly when it has multiple iso contours
The previous version of point merging incorrectly merged points across
multiple iso contours, this version fixes that issue.

The marching cubes had a fairly complex block of logic for point merging
since it had to handle numerous runtime switches. This refactor this
logic so it is easier to follow.

713cf4228a Make it not possible to create a cell set without specifying num points
The CellSetExplicit and CellSetSingleType classes have an ivar that
marks the number of points. There were several instances of code
creating cell sets without specifying the number of points. This can be
very bad if subsequent code needs that information.

f23ff9fa49 Fix warnings about assignment operators not being generated
For some reason when VTK-m was being compiled as an accelerator in VTK,
Visual Studio 2013 gave a bunch of warnings about not being able to generate
assignment operators for many classes. This happened for classes with a
const ivar that could not be automatically set. (Automatic copy constructors
are fine on this count.) I'm not sure why these warnings did not happen
when just compiling VTK-m, nor am I sure why they were generated at all as
no code actually used the copy constructors.

This commit fixes the problems by adding a private declaration for assignment
operators that cannot be automatically created. No implementation is
provided, nor should any be needed.

63c748f049 Implement ArrayHandleGroupVecVariable
This is a fancy array handle that can group entries in another array by
arbitrary amounts. This allows us to implement input and output arrays
with a different sized Vec for each instance. This is necessary for
generating new topologies with cells of different types.

fdaccc22db Remove exports for header-only functions/methods
Change the VTKM_CONT_EXPORT to VTKM_CONT. (Likewise for EXEC and
EXEC_CONT.) Remove the inline from these macros so that they can be
applied to everything, including implementations in a library.

Because inline is not declared in these modifies, you have to add the
keyword to functions and methods where the implementation is not inlined
in the class.

73440ccb4e vtkm::filter::MarchingCubes now uses vtkm::worklet
Instead of having two separate implementations of MarchingCubes, we have
a single implementation in worklet, and filter uses that.

That does mean that the version in worklet has been updated to support
merging of duplicate point coordinates.

6f03f72b49 Use WholeArrayIn instead of ExecObject for MarchingCubes worklets
The two worklets for marching cubes use tables stored in arrays that
have random access. Previously, they arrays were passed using the
ExecObject tag in ControlSignature along with ExecutionWholeArrayConst.
This changes to using a WholeArrayIn tag and just passing the
ArrayHandle directly to the Invoke method. The end result is the same,
but the code is a bit cleaner.
