Fix for hardcoded to scons rules python abi flags and wrong behavior of python bundling on systems where python is installed to /usr/lib64 Now ABI flags are automatically detecting (by checking all available flags and checking if there's include directory exists for flag). Also, automatically set PYTHON_LIBPATH to /usr/lib64 if python scripts are stored in this folder. Bundling python on *nix platforms is now checks if python is installed to lib64 directory and if it is, python will be bundled to lib64 folder instead of lib. This will make building on openSUSE a bit less annoying

Make BF_PYTHON_ABI_FLAGS a scons option. Default flags are empty. Made changed to linux2-config and freebsd*-config. Windows/MacOS are kept unchanged. I'm not sure which flags should be used for freebsd systems, so flags for them also kept empty. Maintainers of this platform, please check which flags should be used and make changes to rules.

Blender TIFF support * Removed dynamic linking libTIFF code and change it to static linking (built into the blender executable). Dynamic linking made things a fair bit more complicated and wasn't working at all before on OS X - the dylib didn't exist and wasn't being copied. Since TIFF is more heavily depended upon now in Blender, it makes sense to make it less 'optional' and more in line with other libraries. I've updated both CMake and scons, and CMake on OS X/64bit works fine. It's now up to other platform/build system maintainers to enable this for their respective platforms (Campbell will check it for linux). For windows, and non-64bit osx, we need static libtiff libraries in /lib. I've added options WITH_TIFF for CMake and WITH_BF_TIFF for scons, so if blender won't build because of this, you should be able to disable these options until your build system has been updated. * Bonus feature: while doing this, I added support for loading 16bit and 32bit per channel TIFFs - they get converted to Blender's float buffers. Handy for zbrush displacement maps!

This is really two commits but the first one is very small and affects one file I modified for the other patch. So I'm being bad and combining them together. First one is added -lXi to LLIBS for solaris. (Makes it so it compiles again with the tablet stuff added) Second one is the real commit its an expansion of patch #4458 This adds optional ICONV lining to support international fonts in the file selector. Thanks to wisit venita (dripstone) I mostly just cleaned it up a little and made it optional via defines. Its currently turned off for all platforms except for solaris on scons. For scons see your config/(platform).py file look for WITH_BF_ICONV For the Makefiles look at source/nan_definitions.mk look for WITH_ICONV (basically you'll want to export WITH_ICONV=true and possibly set some other stuff) Let me know if there are any problems. CMake/Scons: automatically use ffmpeg, boost and openimageio from the svn lib/ directory if available, which should make building with ffmpeg and cycles easier. If this folder is not available or another path is specified in user-config.py or CMakeCache.txt, this should have no effect. - remove CPPFLAG XP_UNIX from CMake, Scons and Irix make, checked our own code and /usr/include, its only used in our netscape plugin. - CMake on unix default OpenMP to enabled. - Scons on linux default OpenMP to enabled. - copying python is slow, for scons only copy if the directory has not been created.

Fix #28154: linux3-config.py doesn't exist Change OURPLATFORM from "linux<major_version>" to simple "linux". Since new policy for linux kernel versions that major version in platform doesn't make much sense for building rules so the same rules could be used for both of linux2 and linux3 now/ Tested on both of linux2 and linux3 systems.

Fix 33149: LLVM caused startup crash on linux systems using Mesa llvmpipe. Now we hide the LLVM symbols with an ld version script to avoid conflicts.
